I have returned...well sorta'

Vacation was wonderful! And in spite of determining to "slow down" I feel like I have been running around like crazy since returning. I guess it has been a slightly different "running", as I have not spent nearly as much time at work, and have made time for some other things in life. :-) But, as I am sure everyone has noticed...those other things have not included blogging...up to this point. :-)

Shadow was very glad to see me again and has been more "cuddly" since I returned. :-) I don't mind that one bit, as I missed her tremendously! Currently she is napping at my feet here...you know, sometimes I think she is about the laziest dog...sleeps while I am at work and sleeps when I get home. :-)

Trying to think what I should update people on...

Well, it is getting colder here...actually turned the heat on the last few days...we had a hard frost the other morning...I had already pulled up my (very overgrown) tomato plants. :-) I hear that the north and midwest have gotten snow...when is it our turn? :-D I would love to see this place get 18" of snow! :-D That would be a riot...actually literally too. :-) Anyway, it would be entertaining...

Tanya was returned safely but sadly to AUS. Maybe someday we can figure out a way for her to stay.

I went to see Lynetta last week. We spent several hours together. That was nice, as I hadn't seen her since she came back to school.

I have been thinking about looking for a house. Accidently found one online that I really liked...but couldn't find it when I went to drive by. One of the guys at work does some real estate...so I asked him to check into it for me. :-)

A paramedic that couldn't find a house????????? Hmmmmm. . . .;0D

I'm glad you're back. I loved the watermelon and egg email. Some people have a lot of time and/or talent or something.

Yeah, I know...what a disgrace...not being able to find the house...the only thing I can figure is that it was back one of several long lanes that were not marked with house numbers...but since there were "no trespassing" signs on some of the adjoining woods, and I was traveling POV not in a large marked "Emergency Vehicle", I decided it might be best to be SURE of the lane before I started heading off into woods by myself. :-D The other problem was that the house numbers on the road and the cross streets on "internet maps" I printed were not matching up...so I am not sure where the discrepancy was. :-)
